The Guggenheim - Abu Dhabi

Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is planned to have 320, 000 Square feet and designed to accommodate approximately 130, 000 square feet of exhibition space. It reflects the Emirate's vision as a cultural leader in the region and a place of exchange. The museum plays a civic role through its mission to spark wider interest and awareness of global modern and contemporary art while offering a creative platform for artists from around the world.

BIM PROJECT DESCRIPTION

DDDc has engaged with the main contractor and sub-contractors of various disciplines from the pre-tendering stage to construction and As-Built (currently underway). Our supporting documents on proposed BIM metholody and workflow helped many sub-contracts win their bids. Here are some of the highlights of DDDc's participation:

• DDDc's BIM Leads and BIM coordinators work for various MEP disciplines as secondees
• The BIM Scope for the Facade, Roof and Glazed walls packages was executed by DDDc
• The BIM deliverables for specialist packages like Kitchen and Laundry Equipment, Crane and Gantry, Roller Shutter and Dock levellers, Workshop tools, were developed by DDDc's team
• DDDc supplied skilled modellers to sub-contractors develop the BIM for IT & Networking, Decorative Fabric, Landscaping packages 

SeaWorld Theme Park - Abu Dhabi

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is an upcoming marine life theme park and animal research, rescue & rehabilitation center that is slated to open in 2022 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. It will span 183,000 sq m (1,969,795 sq ft) of floorspace across its five indoor stories. Attractions will include interactive exhibits, an immersive ride detailing a visual journey from North Pole to South Pole, and what is billed as the largest aquarium in the world.

Halton Healthcare - Oakville

Halton Healthcare is a healthcare organization comprised of three community hospitals - Georgetown Hospital, Milton District Hospital and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Together these hospitals, along with their community locations, provide healthcare services to nearly 400,000 residents in the communities of Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville.

BIM Project Description

DDDc was involved in the development of LOD 400 stage 3D Models for two levels of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. The inputs received were approved drawings in *.dwg and *.pdf formats. The BIM Models were developed in Revit and the ABS data was included in the models. The *.nwc files are submitted for initial review before the *.rvt files were delivered for approval.

Grow Farming - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Power Plant 3 (PP3) expansion project has addressed Jeddah’s growing electricity needs. The project is located to the south of Jeddah. The existing plant is comprised of 27 simple cycle units, and the upgrade provides another eight units. These use General Electric 7EA combustion turbines designed to lower emissions and improve efficiency. Enhancements include significant expansion of crude oil treatment and storage facilities and the provision of a fire station, site security building and workshop.

Pixel Project - Abu Dhabi

Pixel project is the first mixed use project. This is envisioned as a development which embraces the outdoors and creates a sense of community, deviating from the prevalent typology in the United Arab Emirates of disconnected towers. It's consist of seven compact mid-rise towers of varying heights for optimized views and shading which are pushed to the edges of the site to create a central plaza in between.

Project Scala - Amsterdam

Kolenkit is one of the poorest neighborhood of Amsterdam it consist 2000 small poor quality flat. The project scala is a program in the city of kolenkit. Improving living qualities and making connections with pre-war Amsterdam, that's what they wanted. A very diverse program has been realized at a compact location of 230 × 30 meters, including various care homes. The plan has been carefully incorporated, taking into account sound from both sides, and beautifully materialized with quality materials that we know will last.

Al Ain Hospital – Al Ain

Al Ain Hospital consists of 35 specialist departments. It has 402-bed acute care and emergency hospital with more than 300 doctors.
